Job Requirements

  • Experience leading high-volume kitchens

Job Duties

  • Lead the unit culinary department with integrity and purpose
  • empower staff to deliver exceptional legendary service
  • support the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games motto 'Striving for Perfection
  • Achieving Excellence'
  • manage daily, weekly and monthly operations including food product ordering, staffing, scheduling, cleanliness, organization, service timing, and quality product
  • ensure banquets, buffets and event culinary offerings meet AIKG standards and specifications
  • ensure compliance with all environmental and health board requirements related to food and beverage preparation and service
  • develop culinary staff and supervisors
  • manage staff training and employee relations
  • maintain high staff morale
  • participate in recruitment and retention of staff
  • manage culinary department labor and food costs within budgets
  • ensure site inspections meet standards
  • maintain organization and cleanliness of all food storage, kitchen and food service areas
  • collaborate with sales department for event planning and scheduling
  • oversee and inventory culinary department equipment
