Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Proven experience in food handling and sanitation procedures
- Ability to delegate and manage a team
- Competence in computer skills including inventory and time management systems
- Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately
- Strong organizational skills
- Availability to work within the school district's employment period of nine months
- Willingness to attend training and development workshops
- Good communication and customer service skills

Job Duties
- Able to delegate responsibilities, instruct others, and manage time
- Computer skills, inventory, time sheets, production records, programs (Nutrikids, Infinite Campus & POS), etc.
- Follow standardized recipe
- Assists in preparation and serving food in a quick and pleasant manner
- Produces quality food products and follows standardized recipes closely
- Operates a variety of equipment, including grinder, mixer, oven, range, dishwasher, steam kettle, slicer, etc.
- Managing a crew of employees
- Assist in general daily clean up of the kitchen and service areas
- Assists in major cleaning of refrigerators and storerooms at regularly scheduled intervals as requested
- Attends relevant training classes and workshops to maintain food service knowledge
- Assists with the proper storage and disposal of unused foods
- Deals with students, parents, staff, and others in a positive, encouraging manner
- Knows and follows school policy and chain of command
- Acts ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment
- Performs such school-related duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
