Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of kitchen leadership experience
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of Denver and Colorado health and safety regulations
  • Experience with food costing and inventory management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Commitment to hospitality and core values
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of kitchen leadership experience such as Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or BOH Supervisor
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop a team
  • Deep knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards with Denver or Colorado experience preferred
  • Experience with food costing, inventory systems, and BOH scheduling
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise all kitchen staff
  • Build a positive, collaborative kitchen culture rooted in teamwork and integrity
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary action when needed
  • Partner closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain consistent execution of all menu items, ensuring quality, flavor, and presentation standards are met every time
  • Uphold standards aligned with our Value Added Service approach
  • Support and drive menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings in coordination with ownership and the General Manager
  • Implement systems to guarantee consistent, high quality food service
  • Oversee all kitchen opening, closing, cleaning, and maintenance procedures
  • Enforce Denver and Colorado health code standards
  • ensure the kitchen always passes inspections with excellent results
  • Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Maintain facilities, equipment, and cleanliness standards
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory for all food, dry goods, and BOH supplies
  • Monitor and control food costs, waste, and portioning
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and work with the General Manager to meet COGS targets
  • Uphold strict organization systems for walk-ins, dry storage, and prep areas
  • Work closely with the General Manager to maintain a unified guest experience strategy
  • Partner with the General Manager and ownership on specials, promotions, events, and operational improvements
  • Promote connection with staff and a positive, supportive environment in a fast-paced setting
