Job Requirements
- Minimum of five years professional kitchen experience in a supervisory or lead cook capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated skill in managing prep schedules, par levels, and daily production requirements
- Proficiency in recipe literacy and costing
- Experience in training and coaching kitchen staff
- Ability to lead with compassion and technical competence
- Proven track record of maintaining food safety standards
- Comfortable using digital communication and reporting tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff and management
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of five years professional kitchen experience in a supervisory or lead cook capacity

- Demonstrated skill in managing prep schedules, par levels, and addressing daily production requirements
- High level of proficiency in recipe literacy and costing, including scaling, portioning, yield calculation, and thorough documentation
- Experience in training and coaching both prep cooks and line cooks to support skill development and operational consistency
- Ability to lead with compassion, clarity, and technical competence, fostering respect and accountability
- Proven track record of maintaining kitchen cleanliness, food safety standards, and organization in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable utilizing digital communication and reporting tools such as 7shifts, Toast, and Google Suite
- Ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff, management, and ownership to uphold high execution and quality standards
Job Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen prep, production, and ensure the service line is ready for operation
- Manage the execution of recipes, including proper scaling and version control to maintain consistency
- Support the ongoing development of the kitchen team through training initiatives, coaching, and clear communication practices
- Maintain quality control throughout all service periods to ensure high standards are consistently met
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate ordering needs to maintain adequate supplies
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations and best practices
- Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable culture within the kitchen environment
