Job Requirements

  • Experience leading high-volume kitchens
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to work varying days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • At least 18 years of age

  • HACCP or Serv-Safe food safety certification preferred
  • Bi-lingual skills a plus
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong training and development experience
  • Strong knowledge of cost controls

Job Duties

  • Lead the unit culinary department with integrity and purpose
  • Empower staff to deliver exceptional legendary service
  • Support the company motto 'Striving for Perfection
  • Achieving Excellence'
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly operations including food ordering, staffing, scheduling, cleanliness, service timing, and product quality
  • Ensure culinary offerings for banquets, buffets, and events meet company standards
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and health board regulations for food preparation and service
  • Develop culinary staff and supervisors
  • Manage staff training and employee relations
  • Maintain high culinary staff morale
  • Participate in recruitment and retention of staff
  • Manage labor and food costs within budget
  • Oversee site inspections for compliance
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in all food storage, kitchen, and service areas
  • Collaborate with sales department for event scheduling and planning
  • Oversee and maintain culinary department equipment inventory
