Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- College coursework with Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a restaurant manager with extensive knowledge of restaurant operations preferred
- Prior experience in purchasing and production
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Flexible and customer-focused mindset
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control
Job Duties
- Manage operations during scheduled shifts including daily decision-making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, and planning while upholding standards
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date manpower plan and prepare schedules ensuring proper staffing
- Staff, train, and develop hourly team members through ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance reviews
- Ensure all new hires complete appropriate training plans including required paperwork
- Frequently interact with guests to ensure they receive Fridays Service Style experience and follow up on any issues
- Follow the Bubble Theory to proactively run shifts and anticipate guest needs
- Observe kitchen operations carefully and address issues promptly
- Identify operational opportunities to build sales and control costs and develop plans accordingly
- Manage inventory efficiently and cost-effectively
- Ensure food quality by maintaining cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and proper storage
- Coach and develop talent continuously
- Manage purchasing, receiving, and storage of food products with inspections to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Foster open communication with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager overseeing entire restaurant operations
- Ensure proper security procedures are in place to protect team members, guests, and company assets
