Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years’ experience in kitchen management or related food service role
  • ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • strong organizational skills
  • commitment to following safety and hygiene protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in restaurant kitchen management
  • strong leadership and team-building skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage food costs and kitchen labor
  • excellent communication skills
  • familiarity with inventory and purchasing procedures

Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
  • directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times
  • managing performance of Back of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • assisting with development of employees by providing daily feedback
  • conducting formal line taste and temperature checks
  • overseeing the proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
