Job Requirements

  • minimum 2 years of experience as a kitchen manager or successful assistant manager in a full-service restaurant
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • valid driver's license
  • knowledge of food and beverage laws and health regulations
  • able to stand for prolonged periods, move quickly, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • frequent exposure to hot and cold environments
  • frequent handwashing and repetitive motions
  • ability to read, write, and operate computer and phone systems
  • must be available for 50-55 hours per week, including holidays and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • valid driver's license
  • knowledge of food and beverage laws and health regulations
  • strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • proven ability to manage inventory, food safety, and BOH labor schedules
  • proficiency in POS and restaurant systems (Aloha, Microsoft Office, Compeat)
  • detail-oriented with strong time management and cost control awareness
  • ability to train and develop a high-performing BOH team
  • committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful workplace

Job Duties

  • lead back-of-house operations with focus on food quality, cleanliness, team development, and guest satisfaction
  • manage BOH scheduling, food and supply ordering, inventory control, and cost of goods
  • train and coach kitchen staff to build a high-performing team
  • ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • lead shifts using restaurant systems and tools
  • oversee BOH hiring, terminations, and payroll-related changes
  • assist with employee discipline and development
  • implement new menus, recipes, and promotions
