Job Duties

  • oversee and coordinate all kitchen activities ensuring food is prepared and served according to Uncle Giuseppe's recipes portion standards and presentation guidelines
  • manage and mentor kitchen staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • conduct hiring training performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed
  • maintain and monitor kitchen inventory placing orders based on menu needs and business demand
  • partner with department managers to develop menu items set pricing and determine portion sizes
  • schedule shifts based on business needs holidays and special events
  • ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • maintain a clean organized and safe kitchen environment
  • conduct regular inventories and implement measures to minimize waste
  • perform additional duties and projects as assigned
  • oversee all food safety inventory and quality assurance processes
  • ensure food is stored labeled and handled according to proper safety standards
  • monitor product quality and consistency throughout the day
  • enforce food safety compliance among all team members
