Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior kitchen leadership experience preferred
- ServSafe certification required
- ability to work flexible hours including early mornings evenings and weekends
- physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to lift 25 pounds
- knowledge of food safety and labor laws
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation standards
Job Qualifications
- Prior kitchen leadership experience preferred or demonstrated proficiency in kitchen execution and leadership
- culinary degree a plus or equivalent combination of practical experience and education
- ServSafe certification
- strong leadership and team management skills
- strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- knowledge of kitchen food prep procedures and recipe standards

Job Duties
- Hire develop and retain kitchen team members to support food quality
- manage food quality standards including temperature control and food storage
- maintain food safety as highest priority
- perform or coordinate kitchen equipment repairs
- develop and cross-train team members
- ensure urgency and efficiency among kitchen staff
- assign workstations and manage breaks
- maintain kitchen cleanliness
- collaborate with management on special requests and business growth
- manage day-to-day kitchen operations
- enforce core values and accountability
- improve performance continuously
- manage inventory and SSA ordering
- oversee quarterly cleanliness and quality scorecards
- ensure compliance with labor and food safety laws
- organize back-of-house operations
- oversee cleaning program adherence
- maintain accurate temperature and safety records
- apply timed holding system
- manage food waste and food cost
- ensure adherence to prep and cooking standards
