Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or kitchen management
  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in kitchen management or similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and scratch-made food preparation
  • Ability to manage and develop a team effectively
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to enforce policies and maintain a safe work environment

Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
  • Monitoring and maintaining efficient food item ticket times
  • Managing Back of House employee performance including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • Providing daily feedback and development to key employees and assistant managers
  • Conducting formal line taste and temperature checks for inventory and safety
  • Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
  • Scheduling, assigning tasks, and directing work of Back of House employees
  • Training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Interviewing, hiring, and recommending Back of House employees
  • Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment in line with core values and operational goals
