Job Duties

- Ensure all menu items are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food freshness and rotation to prevent spoilage
- Conduct regular quality checks on cooked menu items before serving
- Maintain proper food handling and sanitation practices in the kitchen
- Order necessary ingredients and supplies for the kitchen based on demand forecasts
- Monitor inventory levels and minimize food cost by preventing waste
- Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies
- Manage kitchen workflow to ensure timely food production during peak hours
- Optimize kitchen equipment usage and maintenance
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth order pickup flow
- Track kitchen costs and identify areas for cost reduction
- Monitor labor costs and ensure staff productivity
- Contribute to budget planning and forecasting
