Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two years of kitchen management experience in a full-service restaurant or event venue, or culinary degree, or two years of casino food and beverage experience
- must acquire and maintain valid Food Handler's Card and gaming license
- ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- possess thorough knowledge of sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards
- ability to consistently adhere to high standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality

Job Duties
- Work with management to coordinate and supervise the culinary staff to maintain CNE standards and procedures
- display knowledge of culinary preparation skills and teach proper food preparation and presentation
- ensure budgeted food percentages are achieved through portion control, kitchen timing, inventory rotation, receiving and storing procedures, inventory controls, purchasing, security, and waste control
- oversee restaurant labor costs through effective staff scheduling, cross-training, and staff development
- coordinate and execute catering services
- conduct regular kitchen cleanliness and maintenance inspections
- provide high-quality, fresh food products timely for guest delivery
- meet with suppliers to stay informed on market changes
- perform administrative tasks related to the restaurant and team members
- maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- provide leadership, support, build morale, and encourage staff empowerment
- perform other duties as assigned
