Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Commitment to safety and food quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • ServSafe certification
  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager or similar role
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager with a track record for problem solving
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Working knowledge of food service and coffee equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor problems

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the daily operation of all Food Service Areas including made to order food, commissary food, bakery, and dispensed beverages including self-service and full-service
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and identify and coach specialists
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Control operational costs effectively including moderation of waste and lost sales
  • Order and maintain proper inventory levels for goods, supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Recruit, hire and train new employees as needed
  • Enforce all company procedures and protocols
  • Perform other store tasks as assigned by Store Manager
