Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods of standing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service management
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Commitment to safety and food quality standards
Job Qualifications
- ServSafe certification
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager or similar role
- Proven customer service experience as a manager with a track record for problem solving
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Working knowledge of food service and coffee equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot minor problems
Job Duties
- Responsible for the daily operation of all Food Service Areas including made to order food, commissary food, bakery, and dispensed beverages including self-service and full-service
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and identify and coach specialists
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Control operational costs effectively including moderation of waste and lost sales
- Order and maintain proper inventory levels for goods, supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Recruit, hire and train new employees as needed
- Enforce all company procedures and protocols
- Perform other store tasks as assigned by Store Manager
