Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in kitchen or restaurant management
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle conflict professionally
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to follow policies and procedures
- Ability to mentor and train associates
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to manage inventory and production scheduling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- College education preferred
- Five years of kitchen or restaurant management experience preferred
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Solid communication skills including verbal and listening skills
- Ability to professionally and appropriately handle conflict
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the kitchen provides
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
- Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
- Ensures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- Ordering product and creating production sheets to meet the needs of the kitchen based on past and projected sales
- Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
- Sets a professional and positive example to others
- Communicates openly and frequently with Store Director, Director of Kitchen Operations, and other support teams
- Ensures company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
- Teaches, mentors, and educates associates to help them be successful members of the team
- Provides honest, direct, and constant feedback to associates regarding their performance and areas of improvement
- Assesses associate performance and influences promotion, discipline, etc.
- Promptly addresses and resolves associates' concerns and/or grievances
- Writing the kitchen schedule to ensure coverage and meet labor goals
- Quarterly inventory of all department products
