Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited hospitality management program or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of food and beverage management experience
  • Required state alcohol certification and Manager ServSafe Certification
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable around flashing lights and loud noise
  • Ability to work in a kitchen and restaurant environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee services and busy periods at the pass and ensure quality before guest service
  • Perform thorough line checks and consistently taste/test food for quality
  • Manage food cost, labor cost, and inventory processes
  • Maintain food quality and safety standards throughout procurement, production, and service
  • Focus on inventory ordering, storage, rotation, recipe adherence, plate presentation, and production standards
  • Achieve or exceed budgets using kitchen systems, schedules, and procedures
  • Manage recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of kitchen team members
  • Schedule staff according to forecasted business needs for peak and slow periods
  • Build and maintain a respectful and professional kitchen team morale
  • Work with management to identify and develop future kitchen leaders and address employee concerns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
