Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • current ServSafe certification
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • basic math and budgeting skills
  • ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • valid work authorization
  • ability to lift objects with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including food and beverage preparation and service
  • assist with cooking as needed
  • estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
