Job Requirements

- previous experience in culinary or food service role
- demonstrated leadership abilities

Job Duties
- Set the appropriate example for supervisors and all staff to follow
- assist the Executive Chef in maintaining overall operation success and improving quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction
- ensure accurate execution of all menu items to meet specifications and presentation standards
- maintain proper waste, temperature, and inventory controls throughout the kitchen
- manage efforts to reduce labor, supply, and food costs
- ensure front line staff uphold the highest level of safety and sanitation procedures
- maintain overall kitchen cleanliness and ensure regular completion of cleaning schedules
- ensure proper scheduling, inventory standards, and waste management policies are followed to impact operational costs positively
