Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of kitchen management or lead-cook experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Current Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) credential such as ServSafe Manager or equivalent recognized by CDPHE
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain compliance with food safety regulations
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of kitchen management or lead-cook experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Current Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) credential required such as ServSafe Manager or equivalent recognized by CDPHE
  • Strong working knowledge of food safety, prep organization, and line execution
  • Proven ability to lead and train a team effectively under pressure
  • Reliable and punctual with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Passion for craft beer, scratch cooking, and mentoring hospitality professionals
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn SpotOn POS, 7Shifts, RASI, Menu Profit Pro, ExpandShare, Moxe, Excel, and Word

Job Duties

  • Supervise all kitchen operations including prep, cooking, plating, sanitation, and closing procedures
  • Train, coach, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain labor and food-cost targets
  • Provide guidance and teaching for culinary interns and ProStart students to develop their skills and confidence
  • Ensure full compliance with Jefferson County Health Department and CDPHE food safety regulations
  • Maintain proper labeling, dating, and storage systems aligned with safe food-handling procedures
  • Collaborate with management and chefs on menu execution and seasonal specials
  • Uphold quality, speed, and presentation standards for every dish
  • Support a safe, respectful, team-oriented work environment
