Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • willingness and ability to work nights and weekends
  • valid driver’s license
  • good driving record
  • current auto insurance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Serv-Safe certification preferred
  • solid computer literacy skills
  • strong attention to detail regarding food standards, costs, and safety requirements
  • ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
  • conflict resolution skills
  • experience in kitchen or restaurant management preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage the restaurant’s overall operations for the back of house and kitchen area
  • purchase food and other supplies
  • ensure all staff are properly trained on food preparation and kitchen safety
  • ensure all food is cooked and presented properly and in a timely manner
  • maintain high levels of sanitary standards and ensure the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned on a regular schedule
  • communicate cooking methods and standards to staff members
  • resolve conflicts quickly and effectively with customers and employees
  • interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner to encourage repeat business
