Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
ability to stand for long periods
willingness and ability to work nights and weekends
valid driver’s license
good driving record
current auto insurance

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Serv-Safe certification preferred
solid computer literacy skills
strong attention to detail regarding food standards, costs, and safety requirements
ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
conflict resolution skills
experience in kitchen or restaurant management preferred

Job Duties

Manage the restaurant’s overall operations for the back of house and kitchen area
purchase food and other supplies
ensure all staff are properly trained on food preparation and kitchen safety
ensure all food is cooked and presented properly and in a timely manner
maintain high levels of sanitary standards and ensure the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned on a regular schedule
communicate cooking methods and standards to staff members
resolve conflicts quickly and effectively with customers and employees
interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner to encourage repeat business
