Job Duties

  • Support Head Trainer to ensure training materials are used consistently and effectively in team member training
  • coach, train and develop Back of House team in job roles
  • provide tools, education and experience to perform job descriptions to standards
  • ensure all new team members attend orientation and support trainers daily
  • follow up with team members and trainers, conduct performance-oriented training and maintain training records
  • support manager-in-training programs
  • analyze own strengths and weaknesses and develop self-improvement plans
  • support development of leadership team in operations
  • deliver profitability by operating within cost and labor guidelines
  • meet cost goals for food and labor, avoid scheduling overtime
  • hold kitchen team accountable for product, labor and operating goals
  • prepare financial information accurately and timely, check invoices
  • conduct weekly inventories, update pricing, validate and create action plans
  • contribute to budget, projection, goal development
  • ensure security measures for people, money, records and equipment
  • follow administrative guidelines and maintain accurate records and paperwork
  • maintain personnel files and update regularly
  • support GM in performance reviews and new hire processes
  • complete payroll forms and verify payroll accuracy daily
  • develop schedules matching sales forecasts and budgets
  • document disciplinary actions properly
  • accurately complete assigned administrative duties
