Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • current ServSafe certification
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail entertainment environment
  • excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to manage budgets and review financial statements
  • capacity to recruit, train, and retain staff
  • knowledge of local Department of Health regulations

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, and supplies
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • work with operations and sales team to plan, supervise, and execute all events' food and beverage service including preparation, service, and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the specified food program
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • work with management to recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local health regulations
