Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years experience in high volume kitchen or restaurant environment
  • ServSafe certification
  • valid local health cards as required
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work under fast-paced, high volume conditions
  • knowledge of inventory management systems
  • capacity to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • proficiency with basic computer applications including Microsoft Office and G-Suite

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of high volume theater, restaurant, or entertainment venue experience
  • ServSafe certification and local Health Cards as required
  • positive, fun, coachable, and open-minded approach
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong focus on guest experience
  • resourceful problem-solving skills
  • proven record of maintaining high standards
  • ability to work a minimum of 45 hours weekly
  • basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  • availability and enthusiasm to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Monitor inventory and report results to the General Manager
  • develop hourly teams on inventory system utilization
  • maintain, control, and develop teams' food cost acumen by ordering and receiving products efficiently
  • utilize PMIX to minimize waste and establish accurate pars and prep lists
  • maintain appropriate staffing levels by tracking labor and maintaining budgeted expectations
  • interview and hire kitchen staff
  • participate in menu rollouts including planning item rotation, depletion, additions, and team training
  • maintain small ware supplies and ordering practices
  • uphold company standards, code of conduct, and operational guidelines
  • ensure a safe and sanitary working environment
  • maintain high food quality standards and recipe adherence
  • conduct line checks and portion controls
  • consistently review ticket times for prompt food delivery
  • conduct thorough kitchen systems checks and use these as coaching tools
  • schedule kitchen teams using labor forecasting tools
  • lead communication between venue roles
  • manage kitchen communications board
  • conduct daily and team meetings to keep staff informed and engaged
