Job Requirements

  • high school diploma
  • two to three years management experience in high volume restaurant operations
  • ability to stand and walk for 2-5 hours without rest
  • ability to lift and carry 10-25+ lbs occasionally
  • ability to follow complex task sequencing and administrative responsibilities
  • ability to work under minimal supervision
  • willingness to work approximately 60 hours per week
  • ability to work in environment with heavy customer contact and kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma
  • degree in hospitality preferred
  • successful completion of Golden Corral Kitchen Manager in Training program
  • two to three years management experience in high volume restaurant operations with diversified menu

Job Duties

  • achieve all company standards for products, recipes, cleanliness and service times
  • control food costs by ordering, receiving, storing and producing all food products
  • achieve budgeted food, labor and controllable costs through planning and scheduling
  • ensure food quality by proper preparation by kitchen staff
  • take inventories and report order requirements
  • maintain proper staffing levels and recruit, select and retain talented co-workers
  • develop, train and reward crew leaders, trainers and assistant managers
  • conduct training on new standards and recipes
  • perform performance appraisals and disciplinary counseling
  • perform other functions to ensure guests receive pleasurable dining experience
