Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience managing kitchen operations
  • strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Proven experience in kitchen or food service management
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • experience in controlling food and labor costs
  • ability to train, develop, and coach staff
  • familiarity with inventory management and ordering processes

Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
  • monitoring and maintaining efficient food item ticket times
  • managing performance of Back of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • assisting in the development of key employees by providing feedback
  • conducting formal line Taste and Temp checks
  • overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of items
  • managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
  • directing Back of House work schedules and assignments
  • training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and recommending hires
  • creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment
