Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of chef, sous chef, or kitchen management experience
  • one year of supervisory experience preferred
  • minimum three years of customer service experience
  • valid Washington State Food Workers Card
  • ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • strong time management and organizational skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to train and lead a team

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years chef, sous chef, or direct kitchen management experience
  • one year supervisory experience of five or more employees preferred
  • minimum three years of customer service experience
  • strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and Department of Health guidelines
  • experience with inventory, portion control, gross profit, and labor percentages

Job Duties

  • Assists the Prepared Foods Team Leader and Prepared Foods Assistant Team Leader with developing and maintaining product displays to create an exciting marketplace
  • ensures proficiency in production tasks including full compliance with established recipe programs and food preparation guidelines
  • manages product inventory and ordering to maximize sales growth and minimize waste
  • participates in determining order quantities and collaborating with vendors
  • maintains stock standards including rotation and cleaning procedures
  • oversees daily projects and activities of production employees to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • leads and participates in product promotions and focuses
  • adheres to all food safety and sanitation requirements including HACCP and Department of Health guidelines
  • trains team members and provides performance feedback
  • performs physical inventory on a quarterly basis or as needed
