Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years of kitchen management experience
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Ability to recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Capacity to manage budgets and operational costs
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of kitchen management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant setting required
  • Experience preparing banquet style events
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including preparation and service of food and beverage and cleanup
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the food program
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits
  • Implement cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
