Job Requirements
- Minimum three years of kitchen management experience
- Current ServSafe certification
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
- Ability to recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Capacity to manage budgets and operational costs
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum three years of kitchen management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or culinary degree preferred
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant setting required
- Experience preparing banquet style events
- Current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including preparation and service of food and beverage and cleanup
- Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the food program
- Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits
- Implement cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
