Job Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in kitchen management or culinary leadership
- Valid Washington State Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring timely and high-quality food preparation for all events
- Develop and execute production schedules based on event orders and timelines
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
- Maintain inventory and place orders for food, supplies, and equipment within budget parameters
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations including Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department standards
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Event Coordinators on menu planning and event logistics
- Manage portion control, quality assurance, and consistency across all menu items
