Job Requirements
- High school diploma/G.E.D.
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures
- Ability to manage kitchen operations and staff
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Basic computer skills for inventory and record keeping
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and safety procedures

- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures

Job Duties
- Able to delegate responsibilities, instruct other, and manage time
- Computer skills, inventory, time sheets, production records, programs (Nutrikids, Infinite Campus & POS) and etc.
- Follow standardized recipe
- Assists in preparation and serving food in a quick and pleasant manner
- Produces quality food products and follows standardized recipes closely
- Operates a variety of equipment, including grinder, mixer, oven, range, dishwasher, steam kettle, slicer, etc.
- Managing a crew of employee's
- Assist in general daily clean up of the kitchen and service areas
- Assists in major cleaning or refrigerators and storerooms at regularly scheduled intervals as requested
- Attends relevant training classes and workshops in order to maintain food service knowledge
- Assists with the proper storage and disposal of unused foods
- Deals with students, parents, staff, and others in a positive encouraging manner
- Knows and follows school policy and chain of command
- Acts ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment
- Performs such school-related duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
