Job Requirements

High school diploma/G.E.D.
Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures
Ability to manage kitchen operations and staff
Effective communication skills
Ability to operate kitchen equipment
Basic computer skills for inventory and record keeping
Ability to follow standardized recipes and safety procedures

Demonstrated ability to accomplish the major duties and responsibilities listed
Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures
High school diploma/G.E.D.

Job Duties

Able to delegate responsibilities, instruct other, and manage time
Computer skills, inventory, time sheets, production records, programs (Nutrikids, Infinite Campus & POS) and etc.
Follow standardized recipe
Assists in preparation and serving food in a quick and pleasant manner
Produces quality food products and follows standardized recipes closely
Operates a variety of equipment, including grinder, mixer, oven, range, dishwasher, steam kettle, slicer, etc.
Managing a crew of employee's
Assist in general daily clean up of the kitchen and service areas
Assists in major cleaning or refrigerators and storerooms at regularly scheduled intervals as requested
Attends relevant training classes and workshops in order to maintain food service knowledge
Assists with the proper storage and disposal of unused foods
Deals with students, parents, staff, and others in a positive encouraging manner
Knows and follows school policy and chain of command
Acts ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment
Performs such school-related duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
