Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance
  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 8-hour shifts
  • Effective English communication in written and verbal form
  • Work independently or in a team setting with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work without defined break periods and extended shifts
  • Flexibility in schedule including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work around fumes, odors, chemical agents, and solvents
  • Capability to work in various temperatures and environmental conditions
  • Must maintain balance and climb ladders
  • Ability to access all store areas including kitchen, sales floor, storage, coolers, register, fuel islands, landscaping, and car wash
  • Must operate all necessary equipment safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or management preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations
  • Ability to prepare and cook food according to recipes
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and extended shifts
  • Ability to operate kitchen and food service equipment safely

Job Duties

  • Lead, hire, train, oversee, and hands-on performance delivery of customer service and food service program
  • Implement food service program objectives to optimize customer experience, sales, safety standards, and repeat business
  • Manage inventory and maintain food safety controls for cook-to-order, fresh, and packaged items
  • Prepare, cook, and package food items according to company standards and recipes
  • Ensure timeliness, quality, and accuracy of all orders with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and workstations
  • Follow health code standards including proper food handling and temperatures
  • Record sales accurately and accept payments
  • Comply with company policies and legal requirements
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Maintain product knowledge and promotions
  • Stock and receive products according to company procedures
  • Work with minimal supervision and handle work-related stress
  • Secure funds and maintain cash drawer levels
  • Support Store Manager as second-in-command
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
