Job Requirements

- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff and understand licensing regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience managing kitchen operations preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary restrictions
- Ability to manage and coordinate a small team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in a childcare or educational setting beneficial
Job Duties
- Manage daily kitchen operations including meal preparation and food safety adherence
- Coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and teamwork
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed to support daily menu requirements
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and handle food allergies and dietary restrictions carefully
- Implement and monitor cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with educational staff to align meal planning with children’s nutritional needs
- Train new kitchen team members on policies and procedures
