Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in kitchen management or supervisory role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Availability to conduct performance evaluations and training sessions
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a kitchen manager or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling procedures
  • Ability to manage food costs and labor expenses effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with employee training, coaching, and performance evaluation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in food safety or related area preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
  • Directing productivity to maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times
  • Managing performance of Back of House employees including performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • Assisting with development of employees by providing daily feedback during one-on-ones
  • Conducting line taste and temperature checks to ensure food safety
  • Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all kitchen items
  • Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
  • Scheduling and assigning tasks for Back of House employees before, during, and after restaurant hours
  • Training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing, and participating in hiring processes
  • Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with core values and operational goals
