Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in kitchen management or supervisory role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Availability to conduct performance evaluations and training sessions
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a kitchen manager or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling procedures
- Ability to manage food costs and labor expenses effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with employee training, coaching, and performance evaluation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in food safety or related area preferred
Job Duties
- Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
- Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
- Directing productivity to maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times
- Managing performance of Back of House employees including performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- Assisting with development of employees by providing daily feedback during one-on-ones
- Conducting line taste and temperature checks to ensure food safety
- Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all kitchen items
- Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
- Scheduling and assigning tasks for Back of House employees before, during, and after restaurant hours
- Training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Reviewing applications, interviewing, and participating in hiring processes
- Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with core values and operational goals
