Job Requirements

  • College coursework with bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a restaurant manager with extensive knowledge of restaurant operations preferred
  • Prior experience in purchasing and production
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred
  • Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift
  • Frequent bending and stooping required
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must be able to hear well amongst loud background noise
  • Must bring some joy to the job that inspires others

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Experience in purchasing and production
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Ability to manage inventory and control food costs

Job Duties

  • Manages operations during scheduled shifts including daily decision-making and staff support
  • Maintains up-to-date manpower plan and prepares schedules ensuring proper staffing
  • Staffs, trains, and develops hourly team members with ongoing feedback and performance reviews
  • Ensures completion of training plans and necessary paperwork for new hires
  • Interacts frequently with guests to ensure service quality and address issues
  • Observes kitchen operations closely and promptly addresses any issues
  • Manages inventory efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Coaches and develops talent while maintaining food quality and sanitation standards
  • Acts as Manager on Duty in absence of General Manager overseeing entire restaurant operation
  • Ensures proper security procedures are followed to protect team members and company assets
