Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of kitchen management or supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
  • Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of kitchen management or supervisory experience in a full-service or fast-casual restaurant
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on experience with pizza-making or scratch kitchens preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (ServSafe Certification a plus)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service
  • Maintain consistency in recipe preparation, presentation, and portion control
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control to meet budget goals
  • Enforce strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Develop prep schedules, manage kitchen flow, and monitor peak-hour operations
  • Assist with hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations for kitchen staff
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Support menu development and special promotions as needed
