Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years chef, sous chef, or direct kitchen management experience required
  • One year supervisory experience of five or more employees in a food service environment preferred
  • Must have a minimum of three years of customer service experience
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated with problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to affect sales generation and manage expenses
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, Department of Health guidelines, and inventory control
  • Effective merchandising and display skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to train staff and share product knowledge
  • Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Possess cutlery skills and culinary knowledge
  • Interest in learning and food products
  • Professionalism and confidentiality essential

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist the Prepared Foods Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader with product management and merchandising
  • Ensure proficiency in production tasks including food preparation guidelines, recipe compliance, and quality control
  • Manage effective ordering and inventory control to balance supply and demand
  • Maintain high stocking standards with proper rotation and cleanliness
  • Lead, train, and provide feedback to production team members
  • Participate in product promotions and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform physical inventory checks quarterly or as needed
