Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in purchasing and production

Job Duties

  • Manages operations during scheduled shifts including daily decision-making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, and upholding standards
  • Maintains an accurate and up-to-date manpower plan and prepares schedules
  • Staffs, trains and develops hourly team members through ongoing feedback and performance reviews
  • Ensures all new team members complete their training plans including required paperwork
  • Frequently interacts with guests to ensure high service quality and resolves complaints
  • Applies the Bubble Theory to proactively run shifts anticipating guest needs
  • Uses the Hamburger Stand Theory to prepare the restaurant and staff for shifts
  • Observes kitchen operations and addresses issues promptly
  • Identifies opportunities to build sales and control costs and implements plans
  • Manages inventory efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Maintains high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • Coaches and develops talent within the kitchen team
  • Oversees purchasing, receiving, and storage of food products to minimize waste
  • Fosters open communication with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Acts as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager
  • Ensures proper security procedures are followed to protect assets and personnel
