Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • Experience preparing banquet-style events
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail and entertainment environment
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, stand for periods of time, and lift objects with some assistance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • Experience preparing banquet-style events
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage profit and loss statements

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow as it relates to food operations
  • Review monthly profit & loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events, supervising the preparation and service of food and beverage including cleanup
  • Assist with cooking when needed
  • Estimate food consumption and purchase according to company food program
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • Work with management to recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
