Job Requirements

  • Experience leading high-volume kitchens
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work varying days, nights, holidays and weekends
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • At least 18 years of age

  • Bi-lingual abilities a plus
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong training and development background
  • Strong knowledge of cost controls

Job Duties

  • Lead the unit culinary department with integrity and purpose
  • Empower staff to deliver exceptional legendary service
  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly operations including food product ordering, staffing, scheduling, cleanliness, organization, service timing, and quality product
  • Ensure banquets, buffets and event culinary offerings meet AIKG standards and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental and health board requirements related to food preparation and service
  • Develop culinary staff and supervisors through training and employee relations
  • Maintain high culinary staff morale
  • Participate actively in recruitment and retention of staff
  • Manage culinary department labor and food costs within budget
  • Oversee site inspections to ensure standards
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of all food storage, kitchen and food service areas
  • Collaborate with sales department for event scheduling and planning
  • Maintain inventory and equipment of culinary department
