Job Requirements
- 3+ years of kitchen management experience
- Current ServSafe certification
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift objects with some assistance
- Authorization to work legally
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of kitchen management experience
- Bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
- Experience preparing banquet-style events
- Current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
- Highly developed sense of customer service
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- High-level profit and loss capability
- Strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- Review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
- Work with the Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including food preparation, service, and cleanup
- Assist with cooking when needed
- Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to specified food programs
- Schedule staff to accommodate business volume shifts
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
