Job Duties

  • Lead the kitchen in food preparation and production with attention to quality and presentation
  • Ability to lead all positions proficiently, following all Tokyo Joe's standards and procedures
  • Creates and follows through on the completion of food prep lists
  • Full understanding and execution of government food safety requirements
  • Maintains kitchen cleanliness and equipment
  • Proficient knife-handling skills
  • Manage others through positive communication, teamwork, and delegation to complete tasks
  • COGS management: Ordering, receiving, managing invoices and returns, inventory, pars
  • Crisis management and ability to react quickly to change
  • Orientation, new hire training, and team development
  • Motivate your team through professional communication, coaching, and performance reviews
