Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years of kitchen management experience
- current ServSafe certification
- ability to work in fast-paced high volume environments
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- ability to lift objects with assistance
- flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- three or more years of kitchen management experience
- bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
- experience preparing banquet style events
- current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to certify preferred
- strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- high-level profit and loss management capability
Job Duties
- adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow as related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
- work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation and cleanup
- estimate food consumption and make purchases accordingly
- schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules complying with local department of health regulations
