Job Requirements
- minimum three years of kitchen management experience
- current servsafe certification
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency in profit and loss management
- ability to recruit, train, and lead kitchen staff
- knowledge of local department of health regulations
- ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and standing for extended periods
- capacity to lift objects with some assistance
Job Qualifications
- three plus years of kitchen management experience
- bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
- experience preparing banquet style events
- current servsafe certification
- servsafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
Job Duties
- adhering to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintaining budgeted revenue, cost of sales, labor, and supplies
- reviewing monthly profit and loss statements and making necessary adjustments
- planning, supervising, and executing food and beverage service for events including preparation and cleanup
- estimating food consumption and making purchases according to specified programs
- scheduling staff efficiently to accommodate business volume
- recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining kitchen staff
- ensuring product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervising food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- managing kitchen equipment maintenance and conducting sanitation audits to comply with health regulations
