Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required, college education preferred
  • five years of kitchen or restaurant management experience preferred
  • current Food Handler's Permit

Job Duties

  • Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
  • ensure the quality and freshness of all kitchen products and services
  • maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
  • confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products, especially ad items
  • ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets appearance standards
  • deliver excellent customer service
  • order product and create production sheets based on past and projected sales
  • complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time
  • set a professional and positive example
  • communicate openly with Store Director, Director of Kitchen Operations, and support teams
  • maintain company safety, sanitation, and productivity standards
  • teach, mentor, and educate associates to ensure team success
  • provide honest, direct feedback and assess associate performance
  • address and resolve associates' concerns or grievances promptly
  • write kitchen schedules to ensure coverage and meet labor goals
  • conduct quarterly inventory of all department products
