Job Requirements
- ability to meet physical demands including standing for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs, typically 10-20 lbs
- ability to carry products up to 120 feet
- ability to reach up to 6 feet, typically 2-4 feet
- ability to work off counter heights of 36-42 inches
- ability to move through aisles 24 inches and spaces as small as 12 inches
Job Qualifications
- at least 21 years of age
- 1-2 years experience as a kitchen supervisor or kitchen lead
- 2 years of relevant computer experience
- high school graduate or equivalent
- formal culinary training preferred
- possess required food safety and sanitation certifications
- ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew
Job Duties
- complete opening duties including setting up stations and making prep lists
- obtain specified food items and transport them safely to stations
- check quality and quantity of stock and supplies
- ensure sufficient supply of chinaware
- monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
- oversee and support food preparation for shifts
- prepare and cook meals as scheduled
- complete closing duties including covering, labeling, and storing pans and cleaning kitchen
- remove soiled wares and transport to dishwashing area
- communicate with kitchen manager, general manager, and RCA on recipe adherence
- interact with guests to handle complaints and special requests
