Job Requirements

  • ability to meet physical demands including standing for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 40 lbs, typically 10-20 lbs
  • ability to carry products up to 120 feet
  • ability to reach up to 6 feet, typically 2-4 feet
  • ability to work off counter heights of 36-42 inches
  • ability to move through aisles 24 inches and spaces as small as 12 inches

Job Qualifications

  • at least 21 years of age
  • 1-2 years experience as a kitchen supervisor or kitchen lead
  • 2 years of relevant computer experience
  • high school graduate or equivalent
  • formal culinary training preferred
  • possess required food safety and sanitation certifications
  • ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew

Job Duties

  • complete opening duties including setting up stations and making prep lists
  • obtain specified food items and transport them safely to stations
  • check quality and quantity of stock and supplies
  • ensure sufficient supply of chinaware
  • monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
  • oversee and support food preparation for shifts
  • prepare and cook meals as scheduled
  • complete closing duties including covering, labeling, and storing pans and cleaning kitchen
  • remove soiled wares and transport to dishwashing area
  • communicate with kitchen manager, general manager, and RCA on recipe adherence
  • interact with guests to handle complaints and special requests
