Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous culinary experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Ensuring all items are cooked, prepared and garnished according to the recipe within the standard time frame
- Use a wide variety of complex cooking techniques to prepare meats, fish, vegetables and other foods in accordance with Restaurant manuals and instruction from Executive Chef, Sous Chef
- Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
- Plate all food items in accordance with guest orders and company specifications
- Clean and sanitize workstation utensils and equipment throughout the day
- Perform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chefs or Managers at any time
