Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of understanding and following written and verbal instructions
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting
  • Use hands and arms to operate kitchen equipment and handle food
  • Ability to work effectively in a noisy and distracting environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and portion control
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Basic math skills for inventory and portion control
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Inform supervisor of operational issues or unusual circumstances and suggest solutions
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste
  • Assist with inventory management including proper storage and rotation
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and service team for efficient service
  • Support fellow team members to maintain a positive kitchen environment
  • Foster positive working relationships with all team members
