Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Be available to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Work effectively in a high-energy, noisy environment with potential distractions
  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions including safety procedures
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
  • Frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift to handle food and equipment
  • Use hands and arms to operate kitchen equipment and perform fine motor tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
  • Basic skills in operating kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station adhering to food safety guidelines
  • Inform supervisor of operational issues and suggest solutions
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • Follow recipes and portion control to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency
  • Assist with inventory management including proper food storage and rotation
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions
  • Clean kitchen equipment and work areas including washing dishes
  • Receive and store food deliveries ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and service team for smooth service
  • Support team members to maintain a positive kitchen environment
  • Foster positive working relationships with team members
