Job Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- basic knife skills and cooking techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to manage time efficiently
- prior experience in a similar role is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Dave & Buster's recipes and quality standards
- maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station
- inform immediate supervisor of operational issues or unusual circumstances
- efficiently manage time to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- accurately follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- assist with inventory management including proper storage and rotation
- operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
- assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- collaborate effectively with kitchen and service team members
- support fellow team members to maintain a positive kitchen environment
- foster a cooperative working relationship with all team members
