Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Food Handler certification required
- Partners must be 21 years or older to drive for company business
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Attendance at work is required
- Ability to safely operate hazardous tools and equipment
- Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or report them
- Ability to communicate effectively with partners and customers
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Food Handler certification required
- Typically involves on-the-job training
- Ability to safely operate hazardous tools and equipment such as cheese/meat slicer and commercial oven
- Ability to read and operate digital equipment, meters, dials, and calibrated scales
- Basic mathematical skills for following recipes
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment
- Attentive to potential hazards and able to remedy or report them
Job Duties
- Follow established recipes to exact specification of the chef
- Ensure prepared foods are consistent in quality, taste, and presentation
- Assist kitchen personnel with cooking, slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling, pricing, and maintaining product displays
- Adhere to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating prepared foods
- Stack pallets and sort product into correct locations according to company efficiency standards and expectations
- Maintain clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to company safety procedures
- Provide friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions and taking special order requests by phone and in person
- Promote product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives
