Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills
- Willingness to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior kitchen or food preparation experience beneficial
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for portion control and inventory
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation adhering to food safety guidelines
- Inform supervisors of operational issues and suggest solutions
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
- Assist with inventory management including storage and rotation of food
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas including dishwashing
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and service team to ensure smooth service
- Support team members to maintain a positive kitchen environment
- Foster cooperative relationships with all team members
